The all girls Slopestyle and Rail Jam snowboard series, Billabong Flaunt It is back for it’s 7th season with a total of six stops across Canada and the United States. This year’s tour holds over $75,000 in series cash and prizes and is open to ALL female riders. The first five events are World Snowboard Tour three Star ranked events and have friendly courses that cater to all levels. They each have a $2,000 cash purse and tons of additional prizing. The first place winner from each stop will also receive airfare and accommodation to the series Finals (withJamie Anderson) at Sierra-At-Tahoe, CA on April 6th.
The Flaunt It Finals is a World Snowboard Tour four Star event with a cash purse of $10,000, with the slopestyle winner taking home $5000.00. Billabong’s pro snowboarder Jamie Anderson is excited to host the event at her home mountain Sierra-at-Tahoe for a 2nd year. Jamie comments, “Billabong Flaunt It is a great event for girls to come together and progress!” The finals are open to ALL female riders, with no pre-qualification necessary. Early registration is highly recommended.
Flaunt It is designed to be a stress free contest as the “jam format” encourages each competitor to ride all day and continually progress while the judges determine the standout riders. Top competitors in the slopestyle and rail jam will receive cash and additional prizing. Other prizing at each stop includes the ‘Dakine Best Trick’, ‘Nixon Style Award’ and the ‘VonZipper Rag Doll Award’. At each event competitors will also receive a free lunch and gift bag.
